“My parents got divorced when I was little, and both remarried and have new families. They don’t get along at all. They can’t even be in the same room together. And both families want to come to my graduation. I have no idea how to handle this, and I have enough to worry about already. Can someone at SCRS help me figure out how to deal with graduation so that my family doesn’t drive me crazy?”
WHAT SCRS CAN DO:
- Provide you with a place in which to talk about your difficulties with your family
- Help you to develop strategies for dealing with your family so that their presence does not detract from your graduation
