Stress Management Workshops

Managing Stress Series:
These 1 hour interactive/experiential workshops meet in a 4 week series.
You can sign up for one or more. Open to all students.

Learn about stress, how it affects your life and specific ways to manage it more effectively. Classes include demonstration and practice of relaxation techniques and other exercises.

Introduction to Mindfulness
This is a 1 hour session that meets as a series for 3 consecutive weeks. Sign up is for all three classes. 

Mindfulness is moment-to-moment, non-judgmental awareness, cultivated by paying attention. Mindfulness arises naturally out of living and can be strengthened through practice. Sometimes this practice is called meditation. Learn more about this powerful way of managing stress in part by getting in touch with what is bountiful in your life. 

Time: 2pm – 3pm, Wed.
Location: Chancel area of Rockefeller Chapel

Ongoing Mindfulness Meditation: Rockefeller Chapel

For students who want to practice mindfulness with a group each week.
Q & A time at end to enhance practice. Drop in format. Must have some
knowledge of mindfulness and meditation.
