Description of SCRS
The Student Counseling and Resource Service (SCRS) offers a range of services, including crisis intervention, diagnostic assessment, psychiatric evaluation, brief individual and couples therapy, group therapy, medication management and referral. The number of sessions is determined on an individual basis. SCRS is a short term setting and offers referrals for longer term psychotherapy.
Emergencies during office hours are handled immediately at the SCRS. In the case of an evening or weekend crisis, call (773) 702-3625 for instruction on how to reach the SCRS staff member on call.
