Spring 2006
- Study Skills for Undergraduate Students (Graduate Students)
- This bi-weekly workshop series will offer information that will enhance student's efficiency and effectiveness while studying. Topics covered will include time management, combating procrastination, concentration, reading efficiency, test taking and note taking. Students may suggest topics they would like covered in this workshop. Workshops are limited to 12 students.

- Time Management and Managing Procrastination for Students of the GSB
- Graduate students of the GSB will be presented with information about managing their time, reducing procrastination and improving motivation. Through discussion and directed exercises, students will develop a system of tracking their time and improving their study efficiency. Special issues related to managing the various demands on students at the GSB will be addressed.

- Speed Reading for Students of the GSB
- This workshop will help students of the GSB improve reading speed and comprehension through directed exercises. Information will be presented regarding the theory of improving reading skills. Read an article on this workshop, entitled "Students clock in at speed-reading event" (Chicago Maroon, Feb 4, 2005)

Fall 2005
- Adjusting to Time and Tasks Demands of Graduate School (Graduate Students)
- This workshop will offer students an overview of the skills needed to be successful in graduate school including time management, reading effectiveness and effective study techniques. The workshop will begin with a 50 minutes presentation followed by a 50 minute panel discussion with graduate students.

- Speed Reading (Graduate and Undergraduate Students)
- This workshop will help students improve reading speed and comprehension through directed exercises. Information will be presented regarding the theory of improving reading skills. Limited to 110 students.

Students will be led through exercises in which they will analyze the tasks that need to be completed prior to finals week and then strategize about how to approach these tasks. The workshop will also present information on good test-taking skills. Limited to 15 students.

Spring 2005
- MCAT Preparation (Students Taking the MCAT Exam)
- This workshop will present information on good test-taking skills and managing anxiety. The workshop will offer a forum for students to plan how they will manage the week, days and hours before the exam.

- Editing Your Thesis (Graduate and Undergraduate Students)
- This workshop is appropriate for undergraduates working on their B.A. thesis or graduate students working on lengthy papers or a master's thesis. The workshop will provide options for organizing and editing the paper as well as improving style. In addition, information will be provided about managing writer's block and procrastination.

Students are welcome to suggest topics they would like covered in this workshop.
