ASAP: Workshops Spring Quarter 2008

Speed Reading at the GSB
This workshop will help students improve reading speed, concentration and comprehension through directed exercises. Information will be presented regarding the theory of improving reading skills. Limited to 100 students.

Time Management for Graduate Students
Graduate students will be presented with information about managing their time, reducing procrastination and improving motivation. Through discussion and directed exercises, students will develop a system of tracking their time and improving their study efficiency. Limited to 15 students.

Students will be presented with information about improving concentration and comprehension in class and when reading. Limited to 15 students.

Study Skills: Get Set for Finals
This workshop will help undergraduate students to develop a plan of study for final exams. Students will be led through exercises in which they will analyze the tasks that need to be completed prior to finals week and then strategize about how to approach these tasks. The workshop will also present information on good test-taking skills. Limited to 15 students.
