Our Services

All students go through the same process at their first appointment at SCS, called “intake.” At his or her first appointment, the student will fill out a form and meet with an intake counselor to discuss his or her personal concerns and expectations from the counseling process. The counselor will perform an assessment and determine the services that can best assist him or her. These services include: individual or couples therapy, support groups, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, assessment and treatment for alcohol and other drug abuse, Academic Skills Assessment Program, and/or referral.

Students with physical disabilities should inform the receptionist when calling for an intake appointment. Arrangements will be made for the student to be seen in a physically accessible location.
