Breaking the Procrastination Habit

Breaking the Procrastination Habit

SCS offers groups for students struggling with a habit of procrastination that interferes with their academic progress. Students often think procrastination is due to laziness or some other personal problem. In fact anxiety is the real culprit. In the group sessions we talk about how that anxiety interferes with progress and how to overcome it, in a supportive atmosphere, with other students who are in the same boat. New groups are offered every quarter during the academic year. For further information please contact: Susan J. Snapp, LCSW ssnapp@uhs.bsd.uchicago.edu.
