For College Students:

Basic Study Skills for College First Years
This workshop will review and discuss strategies to help first year University of Chicago college students use their study time most effectively as they adjust to the quarter system and to college life.
Time and location: TBA

Get Set for Finals (Undergraduate Students)
This workshop will help undergraduate students develop a plan of study for final exams. Students will be led through exercises in which they will analyze the tasks that need to be completed prior to and during finals week, and then strategize about how to approach these tasks. The workshop will also present information on good test-taking skills!

For Graduate Students:

Time Management and Finding Balance for Graduate Students
Graduate students will be presented with information about managing their time, reducing procrastination and improving motivation. Discussion and directed exercises will help students develop a system of tracking their time and improving their study efficiency. Special issues related to concentration, focus, and handling the various demands of life as a graduate student at the University of Chicago will be addressed.
